We've got good news and bad news, Ski Mask The Slump God fans. The bad news is, Ski is pushing back the release of his new album. The good news is, he appears to be pushing the album back in order to be able to put more heat on the project.

Ski notified fans of the new development on Saturday (Oct. 20), via Twitter. "So Guys I’m Pushing The Album Back," he tweeted. "Not Far But To Make Sure Everything Is Perfect."

As a consolation, the Florida MC will be dropping two new visuals in the near future. "Ima Drop Two Videos Very Soon Very Worth It," Ski added. In a follow-up tweet, he shared a preview of a new record along with the caption, "Ya Must Forgot Who I Was." The Chase The Money-produced beat features Ski serving quotables like "I'ma goodfella, Maison Margiela my kick/I am faucet failure, my nigga, I got drip."

The new album might be delayed but it's not for lack of trying. Ski has been in Atlanta for the last month recording with several artists including J.I.D, Danny Towers and Juice Wrld. He's also been working with producers like Kenny Beats, Chase The Money and Christo on possible songs for the LP.

Back in August, the 2018 XXL Freshman declared the follow-up to Beware the Book of Eli would be coming out this month. Things have changed since then. In June, he announced he and Juice Wrld were putting together a joint mixtape. They have since teased the new track "Hey Mister." Earlier this week, Ski and Juice were spotted in the studio working on the release. Most recently, Ski shared a snippet of a solo cut where he puts on his best Pharrell flow.
