UPDATE:

On Sunday morning (July 29), Ski Mask The Slump God treated fans to a surprise Instagram Live session, where he previewed two new songs. The first track finds Ski going in over a hard-hitting beat. "Humanity sucks, humanity blows, no cello/No hablo espanol but dinero," he spits.

The other track is an expanded preview of the melodic, singing vibes he offered last week. Get into Ski Mask's new music below.

ORIGINAL STORY:

It looks like Ski Mask The Slump God has some new heat coming our way. Earlier this week, the 2018 XXL Freshman posted a clip of some new music to his Instagram story, and as is usually the case with the nimble rhymer, the new tracks sounded pretty fire.

Known for his breathless delivery, Ski opts for melody instead of high-speed rhyming on one of his tracks. He also gets a good bit more sensitive than you're probably used to. "Just for your love, I lose my mind/Say no more anger, and fuck my pride," Ski Mask croons on the RubiRosa and Adrian Lau-produced track.

On the next preview, we hear Ski Mask getting back to his lyricist ways, delivering a dexterous flow over a hardbody beat. "You will never prevail, suckers/What is real will never fail to prosper," he raps on the song.

In another snippet, this one from a tweet he posted on July 12, Ski spits over a beat produced by ChaseTheMoney. For that one, Ski Mask is once again doing what he does best, which is sprinting over a hard production with quick-fire rhymes.

Ski Mask, who delivered a killer freestyle and cypher alongside J.I.D for the 2018 XXL Freshman class, is now nearly three months removed from dropping off his Beware the Book of Eli mixtape. While that isn't really a long time, it's safe to say Ski fans will always want more music from the Florida rhymer.

Coming off being named a 2018 XXL Freshman, Ski Mask is looking to make a killing for the rest of his rap career. During the Freshman shoot, he spoke on his influences while also letting loose his label ambitions.

"My next goals would be definitely to start on either a label or keep getting myself together more," he said at the time. "I eventually want to get—’cause I have a group called Very Rare —I eventually want to get a big house for ’em and then like start from there and make sure everybody is on their shit."
