See Trick Daddy, Trina, Gunplay and More in ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ Preview
Love & Hip Hop: Miami is on the way. Recently, Trick Daddy uploaded a video preview of the forthcoming VH1 TV series onto his Instagram, and with appearances from Trina, Gunplay and more, it looks pretty epic.
The recently announced cast of Love & Hip Hop: Miami will include Trick, Trina, Gunplay, Gunplay's girlfriend Keyara, former Pretty Ricky member Pleasure P, aspiring R&B and hip-hop artists, Bobby Lytes (Trina's cousin), Amara La Negra, Veronica Vega and Steph Lecor. Shay Johnson, who is Pleasure P's girlfriend, will also be on the show.
In the preview for the new show, we see shots of all the makings of the festive Miami atmosphere. There's a shirtless dance competition. There are clips of beautiful women on a summer night. Then, of course, there are clips of Trick Daddy and Trina in their element, making moves in the Miami night life. Of course, given the franchise's history of extreme drama, you can bet plenty of ratchetness will ensue once the show begins.
Trick was the first person to sign on for Love & Hip Hop: Miami. In the spring of 2016, he spoke on why he decided to join the cast.
“I’m really doing Love & Hip Hop: Miami because there’s a difference between Old Cutler [a sleepy highway that connects Miami to the Everglades] money and South Beach money," he said. "Old Cutler money is grandfathered in, South Beach is investors.”
Trick Daddy's viral antics have gained him more attention than his music over the last few years, but at the time he signed on for the show, he promised he wouldn't embarrass himself. “One thing I won’t do is make a fool of myself,” he said. “If we gon’ make a fool of somebody it won’t be me, so it’ll be interesting.”
