Scott Storch is caught up in a case of the hangover lasting longer than the honeymoon. Storch is trying to amend a marital mistake he made nearly six years ago. The famed music producer is seeking an annulment from Christina Gray, his one-time girlfriend who he married in 2011 but claims to have separated from one day later.

TMZ reports that the beatsmith behind "Still D.R.E." filed paperwork in California today (Jan. 9) to annul the union. In a hand-written note obtained by TMZ, Storch reportedly claims that he and Christina were "both highly intoxicated and not of sound mind" when they said "I do" back in June of 2011.

It seems strange that Storch is just now getting around to file the paperwork to make the separation official. But then again, the hitmaker has made a conscious effort to get his life back on track in the last year and this might be a sign that he's heading in the right direction. Better late than never, right?

After being forced to file for bankruptcy in June 2015, Storch, who is responsible for beats like 50 Cent's "Candy Shop," Beyonce's "Naughty Girl" and The Terror Squad's "Lean Back," has been on the road back to sobriety since early 2016. The producer reunited with Dr. Dre last summer after years of estrangement and was also spotted in the lab with Lil Wayne. The most recent single to his credit is The Game and Jeremih's "All Eyez."
