Russell Simmons and Steve Rifkind announce the launch of ADD52 at SXSW. ADD52 will be a platform for emerging artists and will debut one original song and video each week by unsigned acts for fifty-two consecutive weeks. New artists will be found through ADD52 monitoring of social media activity and compiling data.

If selected, the artist will be eligible for mentorship from someone in the industry, a bigger budget for production and studio time.  The artist will also get exposure on Samsung's new streaming radio service Milk Music.
