Rihanna only follows 1256 people on Instagram. Only one of those people can claim he has pointed a gun at the since-deceased Proof from D12: Royce Da 5'9".

In an appearance on ESPN's Highly Questionable, the Detroit rapper describes both his history of gunplay and his attempts to woo Rihanna. "The plan was to say 'Hi' to the young lady...I wanted people to be entertained by it."

A chance encounter side-stage at a festival lead to Rihanna voicing appreciation for an unspecified Royce verse, which caused Royce to later rap "Hi Rihanna, I don't need to know you better/You tell me you love my music again, we go together." Royce claims that, for his troubles, Rihanna now follows him on Instagram. #Love.

Royce's incident with Proof is notably less romantic. After some "prior disdain" between Royce and D12, Royce ran into Proof and "everything came to a head. He was able to express to me some things...and I was able to do the same thing with him. The only thing was, we both pulled out weapons." Their unusual approach to conflict resolution landed both Proof and Royce in jail, where they reconciled and returned to being "best of friends." Royce shrugged off the hosts' incredulous reaction. "You know how it is, man, it's Detroit."

DJ Premier was also on the show to discuss his craziest fight moments, working with Limp Bizkit on “N 2 Together Now” and much more.
