Rome Fortune Hits the Dance Floor in New Video

Fool's Gold's latest signee Rome Fortune cozies up with a girl and dances away his problems in his latest visual for the Kaytranada-produced "Dance." The vibrant, colorful clip follows Rome along as he tears up the dance floor and provides a fun visual aide to go along with the bouncy track. The Atlanta rapper doesn't have the moves of Chris Brown--his gyrations are more privy to the everyman hitting the club on Friday night--but props to him for letting lose. Fortune has made major waves in the Atlanta underground and is slated to drop his Fool's Gold debut in early 2016. Earlier this year, XXL spoke to Rome about the vision for his music as he continues on in his burgeoning career. "It’s kind of like, I want to be the walking example of do what you wanna do. So what we were talking about before, the terms “rap” and “trap” won’t have any weight. If you want to do music, do music, if you know how to rap, incorporate that, whatever. I know there’s dope rappers who know how to do different shit, but they won’t do it because they’re not comfortable enough to do it. So at the end of the day I just want to be that person to kickstart a bunch of people doing their own shit in a big way. Change the, I guess, definition of what mainstream is and all of that."
