Rob Stone Channels ‘Uncle Ben’ in New Visual
Rob $tone is gearing up to continue hitting the road for his tour this year. In the meantime, he drops his “Uncle Ben’” video.
The latest visual kicks off with Rob $tone, playing the character “Uncle Ben," waking up presumably intoxicated, while his younger relatives are playing video games in the same room.
The intro is a back-and-forth dialogue between the 23-year-old and one of the younger kids talking about how $tone had it all.
“Uncle Ben, What happened to you? You used to have all the cars and jewelry and stuff,” the boy says. $tone replies, “Whatchu mean I ain’t cool no more? I still got the sauce.”
The kid finished the dialogue saying, “You’re washed,” as Uncle Ben walks over to his lazy chair to rest. It then fades in to what appears to be a reminiscing on his glory days.
The "Sender" spitter goes off on a two-minute-plus verse that sees him cruising the streets of San Diego as he explains his side of the story.
“Bake up when I wake up, get my cake up/And if I want your bitch then that's a layup/Diamonds in my lemon, turn the face up/And nigga I'm a opportunist, I need paper,” he raps.
This latest visual comes off his debut album Don’t Wait For It, which dropped back in October, which he features the likes of Gucci Mane, Meechy Darko of Flatbush Zombies, and others.
