RJ and DJ Mustard Plan to Drop Collab Project Later This Year
It's been nearly a year since DJ Mustard released his Cold Summer album but it appears the West Coast producer is gearing up to drop another project.
On Wednesday (Sept. 20), DJ Mustard revealed he and rapper RJ would be releasing a collaboration project before the year's end. "Mustard x RJ ... collab project be4 the years over !!!!!!" he tweeted.
The two last collaborated on the songs "Main Bitch," "Know My Name" and "Ridin' Around," and Mustard previously provided the beats for RJ's MrLA, Rich Off Mackin and O.M.M.I.O 2 projects.
An RJ and Mustard collab isn't all fans have to look forward too. The producer also revealed he had been working with YG. "O yea and me and @YG In the studio everyday !!!!" he tweeted. Like RJ, YG had a heavy presence on DJ Mustard's Cold Summer album, appearing on the tracks "Party," "Want Her" and "Been a Long Time."
In July, Mustard dropped his Don't Box Me EP. The three-song project contained remixes of Lil Uzi Vert's "XO Tour Llif3," Khalid's "Location" and Childish Gambino's "Redbone." The producer also recently teamed up with Meek Mill, Ty Dolla $ign and Chris Brown for "Whatever You Need" and YG on "Pop It Shake It."
