Drake and Rihanna Hit the Dancehall in “Work” Video
Clips of Drake and Rihanna's "Work" video have been circulating on social media for over two weeks now and the full version finally dropped today (Feb. 22). In short, the wait was well worth it.
Pulling up to Toronto's The Real Jerk, Rih Rih lights up the sweaty dancehall with her rendition of the Dutty Wine as other patrons crack open Red Stripes with their teeth, pull off the Dagger and get down on some jerk chicken. Soon enough, Drake, who is dressed head to toe in an OVO sweatsuit, enters the party and the two show a chemistry that will surely fuel rumors that they are once again dating.
The two artists treat fans to a two-for-one deal with a second vid for the ANTI track. As Drake sits in the cut, Rihanna dances seductively while wearing a see-through top. Oozing sex appeal, the singer steals the show and proves once again why she has (allegedly) caused grown men to hurl bottles at each other in pursuit of her time and attention.
Those hoping to see Rihanna and Drake perform a live edition of the dancehall scene onstage will have to wait. Shortly after dropping out of her scheduled Grammy appearance, the "Bitch Better Have My Money" singer announced that she was postponing her ANTI world tour due to "production delays." The tour was set to feature Travis Scott, Big Sean and The Weeknd and kick off this week (Feb. 26).
Earlier this month (Feb. 4), the singer appeared on the The Ellen Show and said that a tour with Drake "has to happen." “He’s not touring with me,” said the singer. “He totally should, maybe next time. I would love to go on tour with Drake. It has to happen.”
With Drake's Views From the 6 set to drop in April, could Rihanna be waiting until Drizzy is ready to hit the road? Only time will tell.
