PnB Rock had University of Cincinnati fans upset over the weekend after he missed his their annual Spring Concert, but the Philly rapper insists law enforcement got in the way of his performance.

The "Crazy" rhymer was arrested before the concert began, according to his tweets. "Cops held me up in a cell for 16 hrs," PnB wrote in response to a sour fan. UC's Programs and Activities Council issued a statement on Saturday (April 14), informing students the 2017 XXL Freshman would not be performing due to "unforeseen circumstances out of our control [...] We would like to thank everyone that came out tonight and we look forward to next year."

PnB Rock also posted a video stating he'd make up the show at a later date. "Sorry for the inconvenience, but I hopped on a jet for y'all and that shit still ain't work. Fuck 12," he added, calling out police and noting he was unable to make it onto the school premises until 10:30 pm.

XXL reached out to the Hamilton County Justice Center and several other Ohio law enforcement officials for further details on the singer's run-in with police. According to them, there is no information related to an arrest for PnB Rock in their system.

In other news, PnB Rock has been relatively low, appearing only as a feature on new music in recent months. Most recently, he hopped on XXXTentacion's album, appearing on the single "Smash!" Now that he's out, hopefully this means PnB will continue on the music festival circuit throughout the spring and summer.
