Olah Only has set the bar high for himself. “I’m going to be here forever, so expect a whole lot from me,” says the 20-year-old rapper. “Y’all might as well get use to this slow-ass voice that you hear.” His distinctive vocals were first heard on a track in 2017, when he premiered his debut single “Spray.” Since then, the Coney Island, N.Y.-bred artist landed a supporting role on Playboi Carti’s Die Lit Tour, while also dropping his 2018 EP, Horror Heart, and his first full-length project, Monster in the Mirror. Here, the BK native shows out in a freestyle for XXL’s Who Am I? series.

“Told Ox, spin the block, let it rip/45, fill it with hollow tips/Remember when I use to ride the bench/And now he only rides foreign shit/I put your hoe on the passenger side/I got bad habits, looking for vibes/I’m on three drugs, I couldn’t decide,” raps the $.A.D Boys Club member, who has worked with Taz Taylor and Maaly Raw in the past.

He's also got a winning mentality. "Gave her some molly, come dance with the devil/I ain't gonna lie to you, he'll treat ya betta/Your rules don't apply to me/A foreign beside of me, I feel like I hit the lottery," he delivers.

Released in September of this year, Monster in the Mirror, which was mostly recorded during a trip to Atlanta, gives listeners something to talk about. “I want them to know I’m one of the best niggas comng out of New York right now,” he says. “I can do anything—I can harmonize, I can really rap and I’m really talking that shit.” Lead by the single “Go Crazy,” the 15-track project features appearances from Lil Gotit, OMB Peezy, Yung Mal and soWAYV, who Olah frequently partners up with, as well as production laced by the likes of Chubby El Hefe, JoJo Beats and RonDon.
