Rap music has always borrowed from--and sometimes found roads into--the church. Orchestral choruses, hymn interpolations, spiritual album closers and other pieces of Christian musical traditions have embedded themselves deeply within hip-hop. But it's always a bit jarring to see the church choir repurpose a contemporary single for their own purposes. This time, the Destiny Metropolitan Worship Church in Atlanta are getting in on the act, trying their hand at "Big Rings" from Drake and Future's collaborative tape, What a Time To Be Alive. It comes just a week after the congregation did the same thing to Drake's runaway summer hit, "Hotline Bling." Check out video of the performance below:

There could be more material for the folks at Destiny to rework in the near future. According to some pervasive rumors, Drake's fourth studio album, the long-teased Views From the 6, could be arriving as soon as January. The Canadian child star's last proper solo effort was Nothing Was the Same, the 2013 LP that featured hits in "Hold On, We're Going Home," "Started From the Bottom," "Worst Behaviour," "Too Much" and "The Language." This February, he dropped a mixtape called If You're Reading This It's Too Late with no warning; that record has gone on to be certified Platinum by the RIAA and has kept him in headlines for the whole of 2015.
