It looks as if the Lil Twist-Chris Massey incident from last November will not be swept under the rug. According to TMZ, the rapper has been charged with six felonies. The Los Angeles County District Attorney has hit Twist with burglary, making criminal threats, grand theft, battery and two counts of assault with a deadly weapon. Allegedly, the young artist beat up Nickelodeon star Chris Massey at his brother, Kyle's apartment. Kyle himself is a former Disney Channel star, having been on That's So Raven. Twist has previously been in trouble with the law, catching a DUI charge for racing his friend Justin Bieber's Ferrari through Los Angeles. He faces up to 25 years if convicted on all charges.

Twist, a former XXL Freshman, was first prominent in his hometown of Dallas, where he had a local #1 single ("The Texas Twist") when he was only 10 years old. Two years later, he caught the year of Lil Wayne and his manager, Cortez Bryant, who took an interest in and eventually signed him to Young Money/Cash Money. His long-delayed debut album, Bad Decisions, is still awaiting a release date. In addition to his own mixtapes, he has contributed to both of his label's compilations, including last year's Young Money: Rise of an Empire. His relationship with Justin Bieber has made Lil Twist something of a minor tabloid fixture.
