N*E*R*D took to the stage at Santo's Partyhouse in Manhattan last night in honor of front man Pharrell Williams gracing the cover of Paper magazine's "Double Summer Music Issue." The Virginia trio performed a short set of songs from all three of their albums, including "Everyone Nose." Their recent LP, Seeing Sounds, sits at number 60 on the Billboard charts after four weeks of release.

Nas celebrated the release of his untitled album in New York yesterday. The Queens rapper first performed at Blender Theater for a set, which featured L.A. Reid, Polow Da Don, Keri Hilson, Kelis, Duck Down's Dru Ha, and DJ Enuff and Mister Cee. Afterward, the rapper trekked downtown to party at the Red Bull Space.

Snoop Dogg may be called into testify in the murder case of a Midwest rapper, according to the Associated Press. The California artist was named on the defense team's witness list. Mac Minister is accused of killing Kansas City rapper Fat Tone. According to court officials, however, Snoop has not been scheduled officially to appear during the trial. [AP]---XXL staff
