Machine Gun Kelly is still suffering the consequences of having an injured sternum, as the Ohio rapper is having some severe chest pains while catering to his fans during performances. While hitting the stage for the Carolina Rebellion music festival in North Carolina this weekend (May 6), the Bad Boy signee had to fight through the pain while performing for a slew of fans.

According to TMZ, MGK was caught on camera repeatedly clutching his chest during his set, but was able to get through it to keep up with his band. His rep spoke with the outlet stating, "even though he's hurting, Kelly doesn't want to put off any more shows than he already has—and he's doing his best to heal in his downtime."

If you recall, Kelly injured his sternum back in April while he was filming on set of Captive State, where he was doing his own stunts. It resulted in him getting "punched in the chest 65 times," causing the brutal injury.

It's gearing up to be an important month for Machine Gun Kelly, as the rapper is slated to release his Bloom album this Friday, May 12. He's also getting ready to hit the road with Linkin Park for their One More Light World Tour starting on July 27 in Boston, Mass. The tour is slated to officially wrap up on Oct. 22 in Los Angeles, Calif.
