Logic, NF and Kyle Perform at Madison Square Garden

This past Saturday (June 16), fans flooded Madison Square Garden for the New York City stop of Logic's Bobby Tarantino vs. Everybody Tour. After more than four hours of relentlessly energetic performances from Bobby, NF and Kyle it's hard to imagine any of them walked away disappointed.

The MSG stop of the tour, which kicked off in Boston last week, began with an engaging set from Kyle, who rocked the crowd with performances of tracks like his Kehlani-assisted single, "Playinwitme" and his Lil Yachty-featuring hit, "iSpy." Staring into a sea of iPhone lights, it was clear the Ventura, Calif.'s artist's feel-good energy permeated the entire venue.

Next up was NF. Donning a cap and hoodie along with some Joker-esque makeup around his mouth, the Michigan artist began his set on a theatrical note, performing his song "Outcast" from inside of a cage. It was a scene that looked a lot like the cover art for his gold-selling Perception album, and it made for an epic introduction.

After performing tracks like "Green Lights" and "My Life," NF delivered a dope live rendition of "Let You Down," a track that peaked at No. 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart back in February. In the funniest part of his set, the rapper joked about how it might have taken the crowd hearing that particular song made them realize who he was.

Last up was Logic, who took the stage under the glow of flashing red lights after a hilarious Rick and Morty clip hit the big screen behind him. Over the course of a set that lasted well over two hours, the Maryland-bred artist, who opened things up with a performance of "44 More," brought pretty much all of his famed mid-concert antics to MSG. At one point, the 28-year-old delivered a tongue-twisting freestyle over Mobb Deep's classic "Shook Ones, Part II" instrumental. At another, he began playing piano while using his underrated singing voice to serenade the crowd. When he wasn't doing that, he was shouting out his father, who was in attendance that particular night, or challenging Kyle to a game of Street Fighter (Logic won). He even found time to bring out actor Joesph Gordon-Levitt to perform his standout Everybody cut, "Killing Spree." Actor-singer-DJ Ansel Elgort also popped up to perform his part of the tune.

One of the more epic moments of the show, which saw Bobby turn in performances of tracks like "Under Pressure," "Everybody," "1800-273-8255," "Fade Away," "Wizard of Oz," came when Logic brought A$AP Ferg to the stage. Jumping right into things, Ferg sent the crowd into a frenzy by performing "Plain Jane."
