West Coast powerhouse Top Dawg Ent. announced the signing of Lance Skiiiwalker back in May, but since then little has been heard from the new TDE artist. That will change next week when he drops his new project Introverted Intuition.

TDE CEO, Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith recently made the announcement via Instagram. "Up next to bat, @lanceskiiiwalker Introverted Intuition 10.18.16 #TD," he captioned the clip. In the video, a person stands with their back to the camera, donning a gold cloak in front of a black background.

A slow beat plays while the camera slowly pans away from the person in view. "It's like everybody's watching. This obsession shit is real," Lance says over the track. As the camera gets further away, the hood on the person's cloak falls off to reveal blonde hair before fading to black.

So far, casual fans have only gotten a small taste of what Lance has to offer. He appeared on the Jay Rock track "90095" off his album of the same name in 2015. He also appeared Kendrick Lamar’s last project untitled.unmastered, on the song “Untitled 4.”

Back in May, he put out the song "Speed". A week later, he released the video for the song "Could It Be" which shows the Windy City artist going on a strange date.

TDE label’s president Dave Free has high hopes for the new signee. “Lance Skiiiwalker is going to be such a breakthrough artist for this generation,” Free wrote in a press release following the signing. “He challenges the traditional format of today’s music, adding another layer to TDE’s unique roster.”
