Today, May 21, is the birthday of rapper and producer Hit-Boy. The producing dynamo is now 31 years of age.

As a key member of Kanye West's G.O.O.D. Music production team, Hit-Boy, real name Chauncey Hollis, has been at the boards for some of  hip-hop's biggest hits like 2011's "Niggas in Paris" and 2012's "Clique." Hit-Boy has produced for everyone in the industry from Eminem and Drake to Justin Bieber and Mary J. Blige.

In December 2012 Hollis left G.O.O.D Music and under Interscope Records, started his own label imprint, Hits Since '87 (HS87). In addition to showcasing dope production skills, Hit-Boy pursues his own rap career. Hit dropped his first mixtape in 2010, A Hit-Boy Christmas and just dropped his first studio EP, We The Plug with his HS87 crew in May 2014.

Since then, Hit-Boy's kept his foot on the pedal, producing for the likes of GoldLink, Wale and more. In November 2017, Hit-Boy and Dom Kennedy dropped off their Courtesy of Half-A-Mil album, a project that marked the musical pair's first official LP.

Happy Birthday, Hit-Boy!
