Today, Sept. 29, is the birthday of Inglewood rapper AMG. The West Coast is now 48.

The West Coast vet started in the music business in 1990 and was known for his overtly sexual content on songs like "Bitch Betta Have My Money." Aside from having the same name as Rihanna's 2015 smash single, the track catapulted the regional rap name into vulgar stardom. With six albums under his belt, AMG has worked with West Coast rhymers new and old from DJ Quik to Paperboy.

AMG linked up with fellow West Coaster DJ Quik in 2007 to make the duo The Fixxers. While The Fixxers were working on releasing their debut collaborative album, Midnight Life, in 2007, someone tried to illegally sell the project over the Internet, forcing them to release it on MySpace.

Happy Birthday, AMG!
