Gangsta Boo is celebrating her glory days in Three 6 Mafia with the release of the "1999" music video. The song sees Gangsta Boo reminiscing about the past while injecting some of that spirit into the present. The Charlie P. video matches up well with vibe of the track by splicing in some old footage with Gangsta Boo's present day raps. The beginning of the video even has some old footage of Three 6 Mafia and the Prophet Posse crew hanging out, which is a nice touch.

The "1999" video is dedicated to Lord Infamous, Koopsta Knicca and Nick Scarfo. Three 6 Mafia has sadly experienced a lot of loss with the deaths of group members Lord Infamous and Koopsta Knicca. And Nick Scarfo, for those that don't know, co-founded Three 6 Mafia's original label Prophet Entertainment. The Stunt N Dozier produced "1999" appears on Gangsta Boo's Candy, Diamonds and Pills mixtape, which dropped last September. It's a great showing from the Memphis rapper, so check it out if you haven't already.
