G-Eazy Arrested for Assault and Cocaine Possession in Sweden
G-Eazy has gotten caught up in some serious legal trouble in Stockholm, Sweden, as the rapper was reportedly arrested last night (May 2) for attacking security guards at a nightclub and carrying cocaine.
According to TMZ, the "No Limit" hitmaker was partying inside of a nightclub venue following his concert in the European country, where he was said to be "acting belligerent." When multiple security guards approached him to calm down, he is said to have thrown punches, hitting one of the security guards in the face more than once.
The outlet says that he was detained by police, but authorities also found cocaine in his pocket at the time. The Oakland native was taken into custody on suspicion of assault as well as possession of narcotics.
There is no word on whether Eazy has been officially charged following the incident or if he has been released from police custody.
In videos from inside of the nightclub, the recent XXL Spring 2018 cover star was seen partying with his pop star girlfriend, Halsey, as well as Sean Kingston.
During the XXL Spring 2018 cover story, G-Eazy admitted to some of his past vices. “I would drink before I go on stage or drink when I’m in the studio, I tell myself it loosens me up and helps me perform better," he said. "I’ll drink at the after-party—because it’s all around me—to the point where I’m blacking out a lot of these nights. I’m telling myself, ‘I need this to perform.’”
