G-Eazy, Yo Gotti and YBN Nahmir Head to the Basketball Courts in “1942” Video
Ahead of the release of the Uncle Drew: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, G-Eazy, Yo Gotti and YBN Nahmir team up for the music video for the song "1942."
The visuals kick off with Yo Gotti sitting on the bleachers surrounded by beautiful women as basketball players ball out in the background. The "1942" visuals then switch to G-Eazy, who posts up in front of a luxury car as he spits his bars. Nahmir also makes an appearance in the video, rapping alongside G-Eazy and Gotti while people skateboard.
The upcoming Uncle Drew soundtrack is heavy on the hip-hop, featuring guest appearances from A$AP Ferg, French Montana, Remy Ma, A$AP Rocky, Gucci Mane, 21 Savage, GoldLink, 2 Chainz, Leikeli47, Logic, The Diplomats, Wiz Khalifa, London on da Track and more. The soundtrack drops June 15.
Up next for G-Eazy, the Oakland rapper will be hitting the road with Lil Uzi Vert, Ty Dolla $ign and YBN Nahmir for the Endless Summer Tour. The rappers will make stops in Dallas, Chicago, Toronto, Detroit, Cincinnati, Indianapolis, Virginia Beach, Tampa, Atlanta and other major cities before wrapping up on Sept. 8 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
Eazy recently spoke about the upcoming trek and revealed what fuels him through the long days and nights. "Adrenaline gets me through every night," he said. "Interviews all day, meet and greets with the fans. No matter how little sleep I got or what's going on, that adrenaline, that energy gets me excited every night."
