Drumma Boy sat down with MercyHope Productions for their Blueprint Minute series, and he spoke about the importance of being ready for any situation while making a name for yourself in the music industry. The Southern producer from Memphis, who produced two tracks off August Alsina's debut album Testimony and has upcoming records with Jeezy and Big K.R.I.T., laid out his philosophy for how to properly prepare yourself.

"To me, success is being prepared when opportunity presents itself, and taking advantage of the opportunity," Drumma says. "I spoke on being a sponge, man; I soak it all up. I'm in the back listening. The No. 1 thing and the fastest way to learn is to listen."
