Denzel Curry dropped one of the best projects of the year in Imperial. The Carol City native gives fans a little reminder of that release's quality by putting out a music video for the standout track "Gook" produced by Ronny J and FNZ.

While the song's title may seem offensive, Denzel Curry has clarified that it is slang for lame or weird in the Miami street culture. The Floridian takes the opportunity to proudly rep for all the outcasts like himself in this video. Curry posts up in an abandoned building where he unleashes some rapid-fire bars.

"Shout out to Mook, that be my flesh, niggas can't fathom that I am the best/I gave you Threatz, Ultimate next, shout out the Klan because that’s on the set/Fucking with me, I will put you to rest/Lie and you’ll remember to speak with your chest," Curry raps.

Denzel Curry's new music video adds to what's been a tremendous year for the young MC. The former Raider Klan member was named to the 2016 XXL Freshman class, an honor he did not take lightly.

"It’s a blessing to be here and I’m going to appreciate this whole thing," Curry said in his Freshman interview. "Even when I get older, I’m going to appreciate this moment because I know there’s people that get on this cover and then you don’t hear from them for years. But you’re going to hear me for years! Years to come. I’m not goin’ flop, I’m not goin’ fail... to get this opportunity to be here is a blessing. So, I’m finna take full advantage of that and when I leave out of here, I’m finna go harder so you can keep that mental note that I’m going be somebody or be bigger than what I am right now."

Denzel Curry's big year will embark on its next chapter when he hits the road this month for the Black Metal Terrorist Tour. Curry is bringing Boogie along with him on the 30-plus city tour which begins next week.
