Chance The Rapper Cancels Tour Dates Due to Illness
This comes almost exactly a year after Chance had to make a similar change to his schedule. Last April, he actually ended up in the hospital, suffering from a combination of tonsillitis and the flu. That setback forced him to miss his performance at the second weekend of Coachella. Pat Corcoran, Chance's manager, qualified the incident with a remarkably candid press release which detailed the Acid Rap star's condition down to his 104-degree fever and the exact nature of his IV treatment. Chance's next record is expected to be Surf, a project of The Social Experiment, a Chicago-born collection of singers and musicians.
