Casanova has been giving his fans his Brooklyn story since the beginning of his come up. He recently made an appearance on Hot 97 with Funkmaster Flex and dropped a very intense and hunger-filled freestyle.

So many new artists have visited Funk Flex at Hot 97 and when they do, they're encouraged to drop a freestyle. Casanova did just that but his was completely different than most. Throughout his two and a half minute spiel over Big Pun’s “Banned From TV” instrumental, viewers and listeners everywhere got an opportunity to hear the pain and hunger in the Brooklyn rapper's voice.

Casanova has endured many ups and downs throughout his life from his time spent in jail to robbing in the streets of his own hood and he channeled all of that aggression into this pain-filled freestyle.

The Brooklyn MC just dropped off his debut mixtape, Be Safe Tho. The project pays respect to his dear friend Taxstone, a podcast host who is currently in prison due to his alleged involvement in last year's Iriving Plaza shooting. Casanova also dropped his record “Tax Letter,” which is a song dedicated to him missing Tax. The young rapper is also out on the road at the moment alongside Fabolous, OT Genasis and Kap G for Chris Brown’s Party Tour.

He's been turning a lot of heads lately and showing no signs of slowing down. A few days ago, the rapper took his shot for the 2017 XXL Freshman List.
