Dallas-based producer Cardo has been putting in work for years as one of the most consistent beatmakers hip-hop's got. He gave Wiz Khalifa a signature sound, produced one of Dom Kennedy's biggest early records, and has gone on to work with Jay Z, Kendrick Lamar and Travis Scott in recent times.

Now, he's planning to drop his own album sometime next year. It's set to be called Lost in a World, and while XXL couldn't wrench many details from his grip, we did manage to secure the above picture. Will André 3000 be on the new album? Only time will tell, but we're crossing our fingers. The album's sure to have a host of dope spitters though.

Cardo just producer a heater for Detroit rapper Cardo with "Came Up Off Work" from the excellent Sosa Dreamz mixtape that dropped a couple weeks back. It's the second tape Pay has dropped this year after he and Cardo collaborated on the full-length Big Bossin Vol. 1, one of the best projects of the year.

For now, Cardo's got work on Jay Worthy and G Perico's upcoming album, scheduled to drop via Fool's Gold soon. Earlier this year, XXL premiered the pimptastic single from that LP called "I Ain't Trippin." It's still one of the hardest records of the year.
