Candace Owens clears the air. On Wednesday (Oct. 31), the conservative political pundit apologized to Kanye West after the rapper tweeted about wanting to distance himself from politics and anti-Democrat merch line by the name of Blexit. It was initially reported that Owens said Yeezy had designed the line of apparel, but now she's said that isn't a case.

In a blog post titled “808s and Heartbreak,” Owens responds to Kanye's claim that he didn't design the merch for her Blexit branding as previously stated. The Blexit political movement and branding encourages people of color to exit the Democratic party and side with the Republicans.

"If I had to imagine what it would feel like to have a bullet pierce my heart, it would be exactly like the moment I learned Kanye told the world he felt I had used him," Owens wrote in the lengthy statement. "I never once said that Kanye designed the t-shirts for BLEXIT...I would like to publicly apologize to him for any undue stress or pain the effort to correct that rumor has caused him, his business relationships, or his family. He simply never designed them."

As you might recall, Owens is a self-professed Kanye super fan, and Kanye gave her a big co-sign when he said he liked the way she thinks. With this in mind, it's easy to see why Owens might be upset.

Now, as you might recall, the MAGA hat-rocking rapper clarified his alleged involvement with Blexit merch and its accompanying political movement in a stream of tweets he posted yesterday. In those tweets, he says he wants to distance himself from Blexit and politics all together.

“I introduced Candace to the person who made the logo and they didn’t want their name on it so she used mine,” Yeezy posted on Twitter. “I never wanted any association with Blexit. I have nothing to do with it.”

'Ye then followed up with another tweet, writing, “My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative !!!”
