Azealia Banks Encourages Iggy Azalea to Commit Suicide
Last week an interview between Iggy Azalea and J Cruz surfaced in which Iggy talked about the suicidal thoughts she had last year when she felt like the entire industry was ganging up on her. It was doubtlessly a difficult thing to discuss, but Azealia Banks didn't mind taking a shot at Iggy on Instagram after the footage surfaced.
"YAAS slavemaster, drive that slave truck right off the canyon," commented Azealia. Nothing too surprising coming from the Harlem MC, though the provocation of suicide might be a little much to some folks.
In the interview with J Cruz, Iggy talks about how she had thoughts of driving her car off a cliff. “I don’t know, there were times when I wanted to just quit life,” she said. “Sometimes I would drive through the canyons to get to my horses and I would be like what if I just kept driving.”
Some people thought it somewhat first-worldly of her that she drive past her ponies first before driving off a cliff, and Banks certainly didn't think the comments were off limits. After all, Azealia's never been known to hold her tongue.
She did, however, make a step forward in silencing herself recently by deleting some social media accounts, like Twitter. It doesn't seem like she's totally extricated herself away from the web, though. She's still plenty active on Instagram.
Weeks back, Azealia dropped a new song called "The Big Beat" that took a sample Iggy's used before and spun it anew. Some interpreted that as shade, but the song bumps regardless.
