A$AP Ant, otherwise known as YG Addie, has clearly been getting to work in the studio. The A$AP Mob member has been busy working on his skatewear brand, Marino Infantry, but lately he’s been spending more time in the booth, releasing two new gems so far this year including, “$cholar,” featuring an appearance from fellow Baltimore native Soduh, and “Lean Like a Viking,” featuring A$AP Twelvyy.

“$cholar” dropped earlier in the month (Jan. 11) along with a two-minute long visual produced by Ant’s Marino Infantry. The video sees the young rappers posted up in a car while spitting about phonies and fakes over a smooth piano-induced melody produced by Lord Fubu.

“Counting the money on scooters/Niggas they thug on computers/Gotta watch out for intruders/50 my clip on the ruga/Winning I never be losin'/Got ya main bitch and she choosin'/No I ain’t with the confusion/Ya diamonds be fake who you foolin',” Ant raps.

The Lo-Fi quality video was shot by Exigence Films while YGA Films picked up editing credits.

Not long after Ant’s collab with Soduh, the skatewear creator joined forces with his A$AP brother Twelvyy for the wavy track “Lean Like a Viking,” produced by 16Yrold and AR, released just a week ago (Jan. 23).

As the track’s name suggests, the rappers go off about sipping lean and girls doing party drugs, over a psychedelic beat that only the A$AP crew can pull off so well. The VHS-inspired video for the track, also produced by Marino Infantry, is equally vibey and features both Ant and Twelvyy bouncing around with their clique among trippy holograms. Hidiji Films and Lonewolf directed and edited the video.

Only time will tell if all the new Ant music means there’s a new, bigger project in the works. Watch A$AP Ant and Soduh in the "$cholar" video below.
