At long last, Action Bronson's latest album, titled Blue Chips 7000, has a release date. On late Wednesday night (July 26), the rapper used his Instagram account to upload a portion of his artwork for the project, revealing Aug. 25 to be the release date in the caption. The LP is available to pre-order on iTunes now.

"BLUE CHIPS 7000 - AUGUST 25th MOTHAFUCKER. #ItsMe," Bronson wrote in the caption for his Instagram post. So it looks like his newest project is now officially only a month away.

Speaking with XXL back in May, Bronson said he hoped to drop his album on June 23. Obviously, that never came to pass, and a short time afterwards, the rapper appeared to vent his frustration regarding his new album's lack of a release date. “PUT MY MOTHERFUCKING ALBUM OUT,” Bronson wrote at the time.

About a month later, Bronson dropped "Let Me Breathe," a single from his new album, at which point we began to see light at the end of the album release tunnel. In the past, Bronson blamed his TV shows on Viceland for the album's previous delays.

“I’ve been making music, man. I’ve been making music, but TV takes over,” he explained when we spoke with him at the 2017 Rolling Loud Festival. “If TV’s calling me, I have to pick up the phone, you feel me? I can’t just put that on hold, cause television is a big thing. Your face is seen all over the world. It’s just a different thing when 70 year olds are like, ‘Oh my God! We love you!’ Like… I like it all.”

Check out Bronson's announcement, as well as a preview of a new music video for the Harry Fraud-produced track, "The Chairman's Intent." That visual drops on Friday (July 28).
