Action Bronson Has Emergency Surgery

Action Bronson was in Alaska for his exploratory eating and cooking show, Fuck That's Delicious, possibly catching bass with his bare hands, when the Queens rapper had to make an impromptu stop. "Well this Alaska trip turned into me having emergency surgery. #Fuckthatsdelicious #Recovery" Bronson posted to his Instagram late last night.

According to Pithcfork, the surgery was "due to complications from ongoing hernia issues from Bronson’s powerlifting days. He’s doing great and is in good spirits." This afternoon, Bronson tweeted out a pair of updates on his status:

The IG post does come four weeks after Bronson left a Norwegian festival mid-act due to medical reasons, later tweeting cryptically that he had "an issue." If there is lingering health issues, we hope Bronson addresses them with time and rest.

Action has been touring for a majority of the year, celebrating the success of his debut album, Mr. Wonderful. The Queens native is teaming back up with Party Supplies for the final project in the popular Blue Chips trilogy. The rapper announced the big news via a series of Tweets in July and also teased an upcoming season of Fuck, That’s Delicious and a new series called Cooking With Mr. Wonderful.
