A Tribe Called Quest and Vans have teamed up together this spring for the release of a collaborative footwear collection consisting of six brand new styles. Themed after ATCQ’s highly praised catalog, the collection pays homage to the legacy of the group's members—Q-Tip, Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad and Jarobi White.

Set to release globally on April 6, the collection will consist of six signature Vans sneakers—Authentic, Era, Old Skool, Sk8-Hi, Slip-On and the Ultra Range. Featuring graphics from ATCQ's historic run in hip-hop, each one of the sneakers will include a certain theme from the group's most coveted projects such as The Love Movement, The Low End Theory and We Got It From Here… Thank You 4 Your Service. In addition to the graphic designs, the shoes will also feature Tribe's signature logos and their biggest chart topping songs to ever be released.

The Vans x Tribe Called Quest was first unveiled in the fall of 2017 at ComplexCon in Long Beach, Calif. Presented by the group's long time affiliate, Consequence, the Queens rapper showed off a pair of the Sk8-Hi and Authentic sneakers in different colorways.

Ahead of the global release on April 6, Vans will host a two-day pop-up shop in Brooklyn this weekend at the House of Vans for the pre-release of the shoes and a special concert from A Tribe Called Quest.
