Most people don’t know I: I have been engineering and producing since I was 14. I know how to play multiple instruments as well. I also was interning at ID Labs but I put that at a halt to focus on my rap career. With that being said, I don’t like to rap over my own beats.
My style or skills have been compared to: Style-wise, my two biggest comparisons are J. Cole and Drake. It goes deeper that the sound, I guess they connect us due to us being light skinned and our love for street wear.
Skill wise I also get compared to J. Cole and Drake. They hear remnants of their sound sometimes in my music. I also get compared some to Wiz Khalifa or Mac Miller because I have had songs where I have talked about weed, plus they are both from Pittsburgh as well. I do smoke, but I don’t focus my music around weed, neither does Mac either as well.
My standout records or moments have been: I feel like a lot of people got hip to my movement with “The Good, The Bad, The Ugly” visual. We also shot that on the red camera, and was one of the first in Pittsburgh to do that. I take pride in not just following the footsteps of what happened before me. I also did a record with Juicy J called “Slab.” I have also performed at SXSW, and I did the showcase for Doritos. I haven’t done a show at home in Pittsburgh in awhile, the last one we did was with Kid Ink, and the fan support was amazing.
My goal in hip-hop is: I want to touch everyone with my music. Even if you are not feeling me, you can respect the work. You may agree with it, but you can understand it. Good things come to those who strive to connect with their fans.
I'm gonna be the next: Sound innovator in rap. I like to have big sounds in my music. I want to bring a whole new feel to the music.
