Squidnice continues his route to becoming one of the top rising artists in the game, and he's making sure to represent hard for his New York City roots.

The Staten Island native takes to the streets of Times Square for his new "Hop Out" music video, where he spits some cold lyrics throughout the lit tourist hot spot.

Starting off right in the middle of 42nd Street, Squidnice eventually moves on to deliver some feisty rhymes while standing shirtless in a phone booth. He also runs into a police car that blocks one of the streets, and stands in front of some of the vanity spotlights surrounding the stores and buildings.

It's been a minute since we've gotten some new material from the 20-year-old rapper, as his last project was The Craccen mixtape, which featured 11 tracks. Just before the new year, Squidnice did, however, team up with Famous Dex and Lite Fortuno for their "24 Shots" record, to help set the tone for what we can expect from him in 2018.

There's no telling what Squid has up his sleeve this year, but it looks like he's already off to a busy start.
