Riccardo Tisci and NikeLab Have Another Collaboration in the Works

After announcing its plans to open up several pop-up shops in New York City to help celebrate New York Fashion Week, NikeLab unveils a highly anticipated collaboration that sees the Swoosh partner up again with coveted fashion designer Riccardo Tisci.

Having previously worked with the fashion designer on several Nike silhouettes, this year’s collaboration with Tisci will focus on the classic Swoosh sneaker, the Dunk Lux Chukka. Inspired by the Dunk High shoe, Tisci creates a mid version of the Dunk Lux Chukka in both black/white and red/white colorways, that are inspired by Tisci’s interest in the aesthetics of skate culture and Retro 1980s basketball.

The next series of silhouettes between RT and NikeLab will feature a big, bold Swoosh on the side panel and an enlarged foxing and eyestay. The shoe also comes equipped with a full-grain leather upper for durability, drop-in Lunarlon insole for ultra-soft cushioning and memory foam in the quilted leather collar.

The NikeLab Dunk Lux Chukka x RT will be available starting, Fri., Feb. 10, at NikeLab flagship stores in Bergdorf Goodman, NikeLab 21M, Dover Street Market New York, Kith BK and Concepts NYC. The shoes will be available globally starting, Thurs., Feb. 23 at NikeLab retailers and on nike.com/nikelab.
