After successfully notching two birthday bashes for PeterPalooza under his belt, Hot 97’s radio personality Peter Rosenberg decided to test his luck and up the ante for a third time. Best Buy Theater morphed into Peter Rosenberg's hip-hop wonderland. With past acts consisting of Meek Mill, Odd Future, and more, Rosenberg swan deep into the wells of hip-hop in hopes of ensuring a memorable night. He did a masterful job in handpicking the genre's hungriest and most influential artists in the form of Ab-Soul, Danny Brown, Action Bronson, and ScHoolboy Q for PeterPalooza 3 last Wednesday night (July 23).

Thousands of fans clogged the venue in a matter of minutes in hopes of seeing rap's brightest shine across the stage. After Big Pun's son Chris Rivers and The Break's very own Retch demolished their sets respectively with hard-hitting freestyles, madness ensued. The rabid fans voiced their angst because they wanted to see Action Bronson tear up the stage. On numerous occasions, fans emphatically chanted, "Bronson, Bronson, Bronson," throughout the sets of Rivers and Retch. Order was momentarily restored when TDE's lyrical marksman, Ab-Soul, made his way on to the stage. Fans gleefully watched Ab-Soul provide a stellar 30-minute set consisting tracks like "Stigmata," "Tree of Life", "Control System," "Terrorist Threats" with Danny Brown and more.

Then, singer Lauriana Mae came out and sang happy birthday to Rosenberg. He blew out his candles from his WWE-inspired birthday cake, and gave thanks to everybody who was in attendance.

While fans were able to bask at the superior level of talent placed before their eyes, they were excited to see numerous surprised guests who made their way onto the stage. Joell Ortiz, G-Eazy, and Vic Mensa showed up at various points of the night to surprise the fans and perform.

Then, Danny Brown returned back on stage for his individual set. He provided an electrifying performance and turned the venue into a hip-hop mosh pit. Songs like "Smokin and Drinkin," "Blunt After Blunt," "Molly Ringwald," and "Monopoly."

After hours of waiting, fans finally were able to see Action Bronson step foot on stage. As usual, Bronson provided a high octane performance which consisted of him walking and rapping through the crowd. With his sheer ability to work the crowd and his lovable charisma, Bronson was able to win over everyone. Songs such as "Strictly 4 My Jeeps," "Pouches of Tuna," "The Rockers," and "The Don's Cheek" had the crowd in frenzy. Bronson closed his set by teasing the fans with a new track off his debut album, which definitely placed a smile on many faces.

Then, at 11:40 PM, ScHoolboy Q came on stage. After watching Bam Bam obliterate his set, Q had every intention of eclipsing Bronson's performance. The Oxymoron rapper was able to do that effortlessly with "Hands On The Wheel," "Break The Bank," "Collard Greens," "Man Of The Year" and "Studio." Q's performance encapsulated a beautiful night in hip-hop, as Peter Rosenberg was able to raise his hand triumphantly after providing his best birthday bash to date.
