MTV Working On New Show, Rapping With the Stars

According to Variety, MTV is looking to bring a new hip-hop reality show to the channel called Rapping with the Stars. The show would be an offshoot of the popular ABC television series, Dancing with the Stars, which places celebrities — such as all-pro football players Jerry Rice and Emmitt Smith — with professional dancers in weekly dance offs. Similarly, Rapping with the Stars will pair celebrities with real life MCs, who will then compete in musical challenges judged by a panel of hip-hop pros.
