Krizz Kaliko has made the transition from rapper to singer ahead of his Go album release. The Strange Music artist kicked off that switch with powerful single "Stop the World," which now has a video to go with it.

The music video sees Krizz Kaliko riding a bus with glimpses into the lives of the passengers. Everyone is going through some type of struggle in their life, yet is able to give some money to a homeless man (played by Tech N9ne). Towards the end of the video, it's revealed that the homeless man is actually angel giving these people the strength to push through their pain. The song and video go a long way towards addressing mental health, which Krizz Kaliko hopes will help his fans.

"In 2015 there were several days where I contemplated suicide," Krizz Kaliko said. "The world felt like a big ride that I wanted to get off of. Life was not fun to me anymore. My marriage was troubled, I didn't know where my career was going, my mental health was greatly affecting me at the time. I had decided to go and check into a mental institution to see if there was a way to ease the pain. A lot of my fans go through these same things - it's why my music helps them, keeps them from hurting themselves, and sometimes, it saves their lives. I think we've all had these thoughts at one time or another. Music imitates life. The hook, 'Stop the world and let me off,' paints the picture."

Krizz Kaliko's Go drops April 8th on Strange Music.
