King Louie has had somewhat of a slow year, but gets things moving with the new song and video "Reefa Dem."

The Chicago rapper gets out of the city and takes his talents to the country. In the clip, KL visits a farm where he turns TF up with some wild white boys who have no problem brandishing and busting off automatic weapons while moshing in a field. You gotta love the care-free country life.

While King Louie's music has slowed, he is heading to the small screen. Fake Shore Drive reports that the Chicago rapper will appear in the new BET scripted series The Yard. The show centers on a newly elected president (played by Tony-winning actress Anika Noni Rose) of the fictional Georgia A&M as she deals with the college’s freshman class.

The Drilluminati rapper was on the campus of Morehouse College to film his scenes for the upcoming series back in April. It is not known what role King Louie will be playing, but he is expected to be featured in the two hour pilot for The Yard scheduled to premiere later this year. The show was created by Felicia D. Henderson, Charles Holland and Rob Hardy, and will star Anika Noni Rose, Ruben Santiago-Hudson, Jazz Raycole, Peyton Alex Smith and Sean Blakemore.

Musically, Louie has had a quiet year and has yet to drop a project in 2016 after putting out three projects last year. He was shot in the head in late 2015, recovering a short time later.
