Jimmy Henchman Sentenced To Life In Prison

The late 2 Pac promised Jimmy Henchman would get his in due time. It looks like yesterday was that day. Former hip-hop music exec James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond was sentenced to life behind bars, yesterday (October 25), in a Brooklyn courtroom. Rosmond was convicted in 2012 of drug trafficking after a lengthy investigation in which authorities say they discovered that he was head of a bi-coastal cocaine smuggling ring.

Officials say his illegal business raked in over $11 million a year using a music equipment shipping company to blindly transport coke and cash. "His image as a music impresario was a cover for the real Jimmy Rosemond, a thug in a suit," said Brooklyn U.S. Attorney Loretta Lynch at his sentencing. Henchman still has more charges hanging over his head. He is also facing conspiracy charges in a another case where authorities say he conspired to murder Tony Yayo for allegedly slapping his son.

Rosemond was famously name checked by Tupac on the 1996 song "Against All Odds" with Pac accusing him of masterminding the 1994 Quad Studio shooting. "Promise to payback Jimmy Henchman in due time , I know you bitch niggas is listening the world is mine," spewed Pac.
