Happy birthday, Questlove!

The Grammy-award winning Roots frontman and drummer turns 47 today and doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Although he's worked with some of the biggest names in the game, like John Legend and Common, he hasn't just stayed in the rap game. Quest has been in movies and even helped design sneakers as well. In addition to these accomplishments, he and the rest of The Roots have been Jimmy Fallon's house band on The Tonight Show since 2014. Quest is also an accomplished author, releasing three books. Two of the written projects surfaced in 2013, Mo' Meta Blues: The World According to Questlove and Soul Train: The Music, Dance, and Style of a Generation. His latest book is Something To Food About: Exploring Creativity with Innovative Chefs; he's exploring all of his interests. Quest has yet another book dropping this year, titled Creative Quest.

He also appeared in the TV show Parks and Recreation, and the films Amy and Popstar: Never Stop Stopping. In 2017, he traced his lineage on the TV series Finding Your Roots.

That all? Of course not. He also placed 8th in the Rolling Stone Readers Pick for Best Drummers of all Time. We think he deserves to have his cake and eat it too.
