Today, Nov. 26, is the 35th birthday of New Orleans-hailing rapper Kidd Kidd.

Born Curtis Stewart, the Louisiana native got his start in music in the streets and rose to prominence when Lil Wayne signed him to Young Money Entertainment. Kidd Kidd was one of the imprint's first signees along with Gudda Gudda and T-Streets. Kidd was signed to Young Money around 2002 and even though he left the label in 2004, he appears on the platinum-selling Wayne single "Mrs. Officer" off Tha Carter III.

In 2011, Kidd signed to 50 Cent's G-Unit Records and was subsequently ushered into G-Unit once the crew officially reunited in 2014. In 2015, Kidd Kidd's impressive string of mixtapes and the 50 Cent cosign earned the MC a spot on the 2015 XXL Freshman list in the 10th spot position.

“I left it all up to faith and the fans responded by voting. I’ve been doing my thing but, you know, I’m kind of fresh in the game now ’cause I’ve never been in the position where I’m at right now in my career," said Kidd Kidd in his 2015 Freshman profile interview.

In 2018, Kidd Kidd continues to put in work and keep it real. In fact, he's upped his game with a notable departure from G-Unit in order to open up shop on his own imprint, RLLNR Ent., and by releasing two projects this year in the form of the seven-track EP, Unquestionable, and a 14-track mixtape titled, Reallionaire Vol. 1which highlights artists from his aforementioned RLLNR Ent.

Happy Birthday Kidd Kidd!
