Governors Ball is back again for another year. The 2016 edition looks to be turnt as the headliner of this year's three-day event is Kanye West.

The other hip-hop and R&B acts on the bill include Action Bronson, Mac Miller, Joey Bada$$, De La Soul, Vince Staples, Vic Mensa, Miguel and Big Grams (Big Boi + Phantogram).

This year the event is taking place at Randall's Island in New York City. 'Ye, who will close out the show on Sunday (June 5), will get the opportunity to bring his album, The Life of Pablo, to life, and possibly some other surprises.

Yeezy just debuted a new track from the G.O.O.D. Music camp, possibly titled "Champions" but apparently it doesn't have an official name. The song, which features Quavo, Travis Scott, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, Big Sean, Desiigner and Yo Gotti, is off the upcoming compilation Cruel Winter, the long-awaited follow up to Cruel Summer. West might even debut more music off the album. We are talking about Kanye West here. So anything is possible.

In the past, Governers Ball has had some standout moments. In 2013, Kendrick Lamar and Nas shut shit down.

In 2014, OutKast headlined the fest during their reunion tour.

Last year, Drake headlined the show and Slim Jxmmi of Rae Sremmurd notably broke his leg after turning TF up and taking a tumble off the stage.

This year should be off the chain as well. Trust, you want to bookmark this page.
