Rae Sremmurd's performance at today's (June 5) Governors Ball was cut short when Slim Jxmmi injured his leg by falling off the stage. According to Billboard, the elder of the brothers who make up the duo was standing on a monitor at the front of the stage while he rapped "Unlock the Swag." Said swag remained locked, however, as Jxmmi tumbled offstage. After rapping a few more bars of the song, his brother, Swae Lee, cut off the music. Jxmmi had been carried to the DJ booth by two security guards, and Swae was visibly shaken, telling the crowd, "This n---a's leg is like, split open."

Rae Sremmurd's DJ chimed in, telling the crowd to "pray for Jxmmi tonight," adding, "He's hurt real bad." When he finally took the microphone, Jxmmi was greeted by roars from the crowd. He said, "I got a big ass piece of glass in my leg, so if you got that video, put that shit on Instagram." He urged his brother to finish the performance; Swae did so, running through the duo's hits "No Flex Zone" and "No Type," both of which are taken from their debut album, SremmLife. Shortly thereafter, Jxmmi and members of the Rae Sremmurd team were seen leaving Governors Ball in an ambulance.

Rae Sremmurd's Slim Jxmmi and Sway Lee spoke to TMZ about the fall. "When I first fell, I thought I was going to die," he said. "So I climbed back on the stage because if I was going to die, I was going to be around my n***as." Thankfully the Jxmmi's injury wasn't life threatening and he's recovering well. "I drink too much milk—I can't break no bones," he said "I'm gonna get back up as soon as these staples get back out. Imma start performing—it ain't nothin'." Watch their interview below.
