The DMV's GoldLink is celebrating the half year anniversary of his debut album And After That, We Didn't Talk with a re-release of remixes on Soundcloud. The purveyor of future bounce and former XXL Freshman tapped producers like Falcons, Mr. Carmack, Sevn Thomas and more for the album revamp.

This isn't the first time the "Unique" rapper added something extra to his LP. Back in January, GoldLink released a series of vignettes to accompany the album's songs and explore the relationships that Goldlink raps about on wax.

When AATWDN originally dropped, XXL sat down with 'Link to discuss the album's intent.

"It’s really for the girl who it was made for, if she understands what I was trying to say this entire time then I can care less what the fuck happens. That’s really what it was for, it was for her, and if she gets to hear it, then I accomplish my goal.

"Everybody has had a moment of clarity," he said. "Everybody has been through a relationship, whether it’s with your dog, or with God or with yourself or with a man or a woman. Everybody had that relationship, everybody has had that experience, and everybody had those ups and downs. It’s very relatable, that’s the best reason I can tell you."

Earlier this month, the Gemini celebrated his birthday by dropping a new freestyle over Kaytranada’s “A Loser’s Celebration” instrumental. 'Link and Kaytra have been close collaborators in the past with the rapper appearing on Kaytra's major label debut, 99.9%.
