Fredo Santana Appears in Unearthed ''I Need More'' Video

Get ready for a trip down memory lane. Yesterday (Jan. 21), just two days after Fredo Santana's untimely death at the age of 27, a "new" video for his Young Scooter-assisted Fredo Kruger cut "I Need More," was uploaded online.

Likely recorded the same year of its release in 2013, the Video God-directed visual offers a glimpse at a younger, dred-less Fredo no more than one year or so removed from Chief Keef's arrival on the rap game's mainstage.

The black and white video for "I Need More" is about as straightforward as it gets, focusing on Fredo, Scooter and company as they hug the block and occasionally mouth the words to their trunk-rattling song. It feels maybe a bit more choreographed than Chief Keef's famously raw video for "I Don't Like," but the spirit is all the same.

Fredo had been battling a lean addiction in the years before his death, and last October, he was hospitalized for liver and kidney failure. Those two health issues, along with seizures, have been said to be side effects of the drug cocktail.

Fredo might have passed, but his legacy in Chicago lives on, as this newly unearthed visual shows. It doesn't feel all that out there to think there's more new stuff coming from Fredo in the future.
