foxy-1.jpgFoxy Brown turned herself in to detectives at the 77th precinct in Brooklyn on Tuesday (August 14) and was arrested on charges of felony assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon. According to ABC News, the charges stem from a July 30 incident during which Foxy is alleged to have smacked a neighbor in the face with her Blackberry cell phone during an argument. The unidentified woman filed a police report detailing the assault, which she said happened at the corner of Carlton Avenue and Prospect Place in Brooklyn at around 6:50 p.m. She was hospitalized with swelling of the lip and eye, and loosening of her teeth. Foxy was arraigned Tuesday night and later released on $5000 bail. She is due back in court on September 26. Meanwhile, Foxy is still on probation in New York for her conviction on misdemeanor assault charges in 2006. She is also preparing to go to trial in Florida for a battery charge she incurred after allegedly spitting and throwing hair glue at a beauty supply store owner.
