eminem.jpgEminem is expected to appear in a Mount Clemens, MI courtroom on Monday (March 26) where he will attempt to silence his estranged ex-wife Kim Mathers once and for all. According to The Detroit News, the superstar rapper filed a motion in Macomb County Circuit Court on March 16 in an attempt to protect the couple’s 11 year-old daughter, Hailie, from Kim’s “derogatory, disparaging, inflammatory and otherwise negative comments.” Over the past couple of months, Kim has publicly attacked Em on national television, in print and on a Detroit radio station. During an interview with Detroit’s 95.5 FM, she commented, “I can't stand him. He's an absolutely horrible person, and he gets worse every day. I vomit in my mouth whenever I'm around him or I hear his name.” The court papers filed also state, “Complicating the situation for the child is the fact that her father is an internationally known public figure,” the motion reads. “It is simply impossible for her to be shielded from the kind of media campaign currently being waged by [Kim] against [Eminem].” In December 2006, the couple divorced for the second time after only three months of marriage.
